Hydration will be the reason that FSU football beats Alabama in season opener

Hydration is needed for this one...

HYDRATION WAS AN ISSUE IN FSU-BOISE MATCHUP FROM 2019

I was unfortunately one of the casualties who had to suffer through the 2019 matchup against Boise State, which featured a noon kickoff at Doak Campbell Stadium.

The game was one of the hottest games that I have attended. I was drenched in sweat by the end of the contest. You would've thought I participated in giving multiple car washes that day. That August sun in Tallahassee is unbearable.

In the game, the Seminoles took a 31-13 advantage with 4:07 left to go in the second quarter as signal-caller James Blackman connected on a 58-yard touchdown pass to wide receiver Keyshawn Helton.

Bringing back gross memories, eh?

That would be the last time that Florida State scored in the game, as Boise State would mount a comeback and win by a score of 36-31. After the contest, former head football coach Willie Taggart mentioned that the loss was likely due to hydration issues.

FSU-ALABAMA KICKOFF TIME AND TV NETWORK

According to a report from Action Network's Brett McMurphy, the Florida State-Alabama 2025 season opener on Saturday, August 30th, will be played at 3:30 PM EST on ABC.

Many individuals are disappointed that the game will be played during the day, as they had hoped the newly renovated Doak Campbell Stadium would host a night game. However, as we have seen with the Seminoles' luck over the last ten years, it hasn't exactly gone as planned.

With that said, hydration will look to be a thing of the past for Florida State football as they have a completely different roster, coaching staff, and mindset going into a season where they need to show the nation that they are back to a respectable level.

Fans should bring their fans and water bottles because you will need to cool the Florida State Seminoles from all of the touchdowns that they will be scoring!
