Florida State football had a difficult 2024 season, where it finished with a 2-10 record. All that the Seminoles can do about it now is to lick their wounds and move forward from the disastrous ending.

Head football coach Mike Norvell knew that major changes were needed to get the Seminoles headed back in the right direction. We at ChopChat already mentioned three reasons why Coach Norvell should be trusted to get Florida State back on track in 2025.

Norvell made a difficult decision where he had to fire several assistant coaches. This was not a choice that was made lightly as many of the individuals were friends of his who developed relationships with him and his family members.

However, after the season that Florida State had last year, something had to be done to move the needle positively. With new coaches, that means new excitement on the recruiting trail. The Seminoles finished with an outstanding group of talented prospects in the 2025 cycle, where it ranked as the 19th-best recruiting class according to 247Sports.

I want to break down the top three true freshmen and my analysis of how much they will play during the 2025 season for the Seminoles.
