Florida State football will be preparing to prove the doubters after its disastrous 2025 campaign that started so well with beating Alabama in the opener. The Seminoles will be playing with a chip on their shoulders in order to get back to the standard of Florida State football again.

Florida State football's social media account released four more kickoff times on Wednesday afternoon for the New Mexico State, Alabama, Louisville, and Pittsburgh contests.

1. New Mexico State (7:00 PM EST)

Florida State starts the 2026 season against New Mexico State on Saturday, August 29th, in Doak Campbell Stadium. Words cannot describe how much I love the fact that I don't have to deal with that Tallahassee sun with kickoff being at 7:00 PM EST.

2. Alabama (3:30 PM EST)

Alabama still doesn't have the legendary Nick Saban, right? Florida State football will be looking to make it two years in a row against the Crimson Tide. It will be difficult to go into Bryant-Denny Stadium and beat Alabama, which is looking for revenge. However, not having it as a night game helps.

3. Louisville (7:00 PM EST)

I wish that Florida State and Michael Alford could have worked their magic to get the Seminoles out of playing this Friday night matchup against Louisville. However, if Florida State expects to have a bounce back in 2026, they have to be up to the challenge to win on the road.

4. Pittsburgh (7:00 PM EST)

Florida State has yet another Friday night game, and this time it is against Pittsburgh on the road. If you are wondering, yes, the ACC does dislike the Seminoles. At least the contest will be on ESPN, and maybe there will be a solid amount of eyes on the Seminoles.
