Florida State men's basketball program suffered a loss to the No. 25 ranked Louisville Cardinals on the road. This was expected as the Seminoles have a 2-7 road record.
Florida State is now taking on a struggling North Carolina Tar Heels squad. The general public considers this as a down year for the Tar Heels. To make matters worse, North Carolina has a 17-11 overall record while Florida State has a 16-11 record.
The Seminoles need some momentum in what head basketball coach Leonard Hamilton's final season in Tallahassee is. The home crowd at the Tucker Center will be conducting a whiteout. Hopefully, it will generate excitement as the first 2,000 fans will receive a Hamilton GOAT white t-shirt.

Florida State will be taking on North Carolina at 7 PM on ESPN. All eyes will be on the Seminoles in a nationally televised contest. The Seminoles are listed as a 3.5-point underdog, according to FanDuel Sportsbook.
This is a moment where players such as guard Jamir Watkins and forward Malique Ewin will have to take control if Florida State wants to gain an important victory on its resume. This is the second to last regular season home game for head basketball coach Leonard Hamilton.
Tar Heels guard RJ Davis is a tremendous scorer who averages 17.3 points per game. The Seminoles will have to find a way to contain him. However, forward Malique Ewin could have a field day on the boards as North Carolina's best rebound is guard Seth Trimble who averages 5.5 rebounds per game.
Be sure to come out to the Tucker Center and cheer on Florida State's men's basketball program tonight.
