The will host the East Texas A&M Lions on Saturday at noon p.m. ET. The game will air on the ACC Network, and the announcers will be:

  • Jordge Sedano-Play-By-Play
  • Rodney McLeod-Analyst
  • Victoria Arlen-Sideline Reporter

I don’t know much about this crew, and they’ll likely spend much of the broadcast talking about the Alabama game last week. This won’t have the same juice as the last broadcast since it’s airing on the ACC Network.

Odds

FSU enters the game as a -44.5 betting favorite, and the over/under points total is 57.5, according to FanDuel.com. It took forever for these odds to post, and they imply a 51-7 FSU win. I predicted FSU would win 52-10 before the odds dropped, so it’s good to know I was in the ballpark! That's a big number to cover, but Gus Malzahn likes to run the score up against inferior competition. My only question is how much will the reserve players play? If it's a significant amount, there's no telling how well they will play.

Injuries

FSU is relatively healthy aside from starting tight end Randy Pittman Jr. missing the game. I reported that he’d likely be out for the next couple of weeks. However, I think it’s more load management than anything serious. If they were playing Miami tomorrow, I’d expect Pittman to have played.

Weather

It’ll be partly cloudy and around 92 degrees when they start the game. The humidity will be about 53 percent. There will be a slight breeze, but it’ll feel like 94 degrees. There is no rain in the forecast, but the UV index will be 8 of 11 with 48 percent cloud cover.

Series History

This will be the first-ever matchup between the two programs.
