FSU vs. Charleston Southern, How To Watch and Game Announcers
By Kelvin Hunt
FSU football (1-9) will look for its second win in 2024 as they face another 1-10 team in Charleston Southern. The Noles will host the Buccaneers as -33 point betting favorites on DraftKings, with the 44.5 over/under points total. Keep in mind, that FSU hasn't scored more than 21 points all season.
The game will have a weird 1:30 p.m. start time and will air on the ACC Extra/ESPN+. At least FSU fans won't have to wait all day for the Noles to play at night like many times this year.
The broadcast team should favor the Noles, as it'll feature three guys with FSU ties. Jeff Culhane, William Floyd, and Tom Block will call the action. Culhane is the new voice of FSU sports, replacing the legendary Gene Deckerhoff a couple of years ago. Floyd is a former FSU player, and Block is an FSU grad, and has called FSU baseball games in the past.
FSU fans still can't believe FSU is such a large betting favorite, even against Charleston Southern. However, FSU had some success running the ball against a stout Notre Dame defense two weeks ago. They had a bye last week, and fans hope they found some extra magic to get things going. It'll be interesting to see how Mike Norvell decides to start at quarterback. Brock Glenn and Luke Kromenhoek have split those duties most of the last few weeks, but Glenn has remained the starter. However, there was an "OR" on the depth chart earlier this week.
FSU is in dire need of a win, and I'd have no words if they lost this game.
