FSU offensive line target Wilson Zierer committed to the Auburn Tigers on Thursday, leaving the Noles with one uncommitted OL target remaining in Da'Ron Parks.

Parks will announce his decision on July 26, and FSU is still in the mix. However, I'm not sure he's a true offensive tackle. The fact that FSU offered Georgia Tech offensive tackle commit Bear Fretwell means he's probably not a true OT, or they don't think they'll land him.

Fretwell recently received an offer from Alabama about two weeks ago and received an offer from FSU a few hours after Zierer committed to Auburn.

Fretwell received the offer from Alabama after working out for the Crimson Tide. That information must be enough for FSU to feel comfortable sending an offer, or it's to get him on campus so they can do their evaluations in person.

He lists at 6'7" and 290 pounds. He committed to Georgia Tech last month after taking an official visit. He took official visits to Northwestern and Cincinnati. He'll likely take an official visit to Alabama, and FSU will need to work to secure an official visit during the season.

It looks like FSU will need to turn its attention to players committed elsewhere, whether they land Da'Ron Parks or not. I'll be watching to see if FSU can get him on an official visit. If not, that ship has sailed.

He's only a four-and-a-half drive from Tallahassee. FSU plays some marquee games against Alabama(several official visits will happen that weekend, Miami, and Florida.

I won't be shocked to see FSU bring in other guys committed elsewhere for official visits this fall. If they exceed expectations, they might do enough to persuade 1-2 guys to flip to the good guys.
