FSU got embarrassed once again in a 52-3 blowout against Notre Dame for their sixth consecutive loss to fall to 1-9 this season.

The game was a manageable 14-3 deficit near the end of the second quarter, but a boneheaded decision by Mike Norvell after a third-down stop by the defense gave Notre Dame new life, and of course, they took advantage to score a touchdown to make it 21-3 at the half.

FSU had 100 total yards at halftime and got 108 yards in the second half. FSU had some success running the ball early but couldn't complete passes for a myriad of reasons. They were 10 of 26 for 88 yards and two interceptions.

The offense line allowed eight sacks and 10 tackles for a loss. FSU quarterbacks took too long to process plays, and the FSU receivers struggled to get open as usual.

I don't know what to say other than leave every FSU offensive coach in South Bend. There is no reason to bring them back to Tallahassee with the team. It's like the team isn't coached during the week.

There has literally been no offensive improvement over the past five weeks since DJ Uiagalalei broke his finger against SMU. FSU hasn't scored more than 14 points since he exited with his broken finger.

The defense isn't great, but they got enough stops to keep FSU in the game in the first half.

I wrote the question if FSU would score an offensive touchdown against Notre Dame before the game, and they didn't.

Aside from a bad drop late in the game, Lawrance Toafili played hard. Freshman Samuel Singleton ran hard and was solid on special teams.

FSU has a bye week before hosting Charleston Southern on November 23. FSU fans have already checked out and turned on Mike Norvell. He needs to announce someone's firing to show people he at least cares about something instead of looking off into the wilderness like he's clueless.

If not, he can stay in South Bend too.
