FSU football coaches have yet to land a commitment for the defensive end/JACK position in the 2026 recruiting class. They’ve expanded the board over the past month or so, offering a handful of new targets while turning their attention to targets who are committed elsewhere.
They have a few guys scheduled for official visits during the season, but that hasn’t stopped their pursuit of other potential players. The latest target received an offer from defensive line coach Terrance Knighton on Sunday.

Damaad Lewis is a high three-star target from Charlotte, North Carolina. He’s uncommitted, but took an official visit to in-state school NC State in mid-June. He released a final five list about three weeks ago. That list consisted of NC State, Washington, Texas, Texas A&M, and USC.

I’m skeptical he’d have a commitable offer from USC, Texas A&M, or Texas. They all have multiple commits at the position. Washington has one and I doubt a player from North Carolina is going all the way across the country. NC State is the conceivable favorite since it’s the only place he’s taken an official visit(which is also telling about the other schools). However, the Wolfpack didn't offer him until January 2025, so it's not like that relationship can be that strong.
He has a good size at 6’4” and 245 pounds and is the No. 433 player and No. 51 defensive end/JACK nationally. His brother, Damien Lewis, played at LSU, and was a third-round selection by the Seattle Seahawks. He currently plays with
He hasn’t been to FSU before, from what I can tell, and it’ll be interesting to see if they can get him for an official visit during the season. FSU has some nice home games that would feature a better atmosphere than Carter-Finley Stadium, and FSU will travel to play NC State later in the season.
This one could be one to monitor as the season progresses.
