FSU football: Would Brennan Marion be a 'homerun' offensive coordinator hire?

High-Scoring and Explosive Offenses
Marion's offenses have been among the highest-scoring nationally last year and this year. They run the ball well and have been among the most explosive offenses. They also convert third downs at a high level and score a lot of touchdowns.
2023 | 34.4 PPG | 4.51 YPC | 6.13 YPP | 49% 3rd Down Conversions | 65 Percent Touchdowns in RZ |

2024 | 39.8 PPG | 5.69 YPC | 6.59 YPP | 38% 3rd Downs Conversions | 48 Percent Touchdowns in RZ |
UNLV averaged 67 offensive plays per game in 2023 (14 games) and averaged around 65 plays per game in 2024 (nine games). That's in the same ballpark as FSU in 2022 and 2023.
They ran the ball 57 percent of the time in 2023 and have run it 67.5 percent of the time thus far in 2024.
However, the passing attack has been potent, with 8.8 yards per attempt and a 64 percent completion percentage from the starting QB(13 touchdowns and three interceptions). They haven't passed it much, because they have averaged over five yards per carry running the ball. However, when they pass the ball, they've made it count.
