FSU football: Why Luke Kromenhoek should continue to get more reps
By Kelvin Hunt
Parting Thoughts
Luke Kromenhoek outperformed Brock Glenn in a rivalry game on the road. He looked much better in his second game than the first, and the offense moved better with him in the game.
I'm not saying to cast aside Brock Glenn yet, but it's clear Luke Kromenhoek is much farther ahead as a freshman than Brock Glenn this time last year.
Mike Norvell must continue to give both guys reps, but I think Luke Kromenhoek earned the opportunity to start the next game against North Carolina. If he goes out there and continues to show production like he did against Miami, then Mike Norvell has his quarterback for 2025.
If he regresses in his next outing, similarly to how Brock Glenn did from the Clemson start to the Duke game? Then Brock Glenn will have his opportunities. Right now, it looks like Kromenhoek has that "It" factor when he's on the field. Not to mention he's a year younger than Glenn and came in with a talented 2024 wide receiver class.
Luke Kromenhoek should continue to get more snaps every game as long as the trajectory continues. North Carolina doesn't have a great defense, and there's a good chance he could look even better next week.
