FSU football has seven commits in its 2026 recruiting class and has over 40 official visitors set to visit several weeks later in the year. Most of the official visitors will come on three different weekends in June.

Six of the seven FSU commits have official visits set with FSU. However, some already have official visits set with other schools, and there's likely more to come as players confirm those visits.

Here is where FSU commits have official visits set as of now:

  • Efrem White: NC State on June 6 and FSU on June 20
  • Darryon Williams: No official visits set yet
  • Darryl Bell III: Alabama on June 6 and FSU on June 13
  • Amari Clemons: FSU on June 20
  • Tedarius Hughes: Miami on May 30 and FSU on June 13
  • Karon Maycock: Miami on May 30 and FSU on June 20
  • Xavier Payne: Penn State on May 16, Arkansas on May 30, and FSU on June 20

These guys visiting other schools doesn't mean they will flip their commitments, but something to monitor. Some of these guys will likely take multiple official visits elsewhere. FSU has several players committed elsewhere with official visits set to FSU.

Most coveted players will take most of their official visits for the experience and all that comes with it. At the very least, some other top schools are interested in FSU targets.

It probably wouldn't be a good sign if no schools were trying to get FSU commits on campus for official visits. These commits have their official visits to FSU set after those to the other schools, so it'll be a chase for the coaching staff to sure up things before the season gets underway.

I wrote about FSU's quarterback recruiting on Wednesday, and that's a position I'm curious to see who officially visits FSU. Who visits and when they visit will tell us a lot. Once they get a commitment at that position, I think we'll see the class start coming together a bit more.
