Parting Thoughts
All these players would help fill needs in the recruiting class. However, I expect FSU to be a big player in the transfer portal when it officially opens.
FSU coaches are having exit interviews with players this week, and whether players stay or enter the transfer portal will determine how active the Noles will be in the portal as well.
FSU had a small, but excellent class going into the 2024 season that had some potential difference-makers at key positions in the trenches and at the skill positions. Many of the guys mentioned will need time to develop but have a lot of raw ability and size.
That's why it'll be important to nail their transfer portal evaluations, to give these players the chance to develop and not have to play before they are ready.
FSU needs some good news on the trail and getting some late flips will provide some positivity and potentially offset if they lose a player or two.
While having a top 25 class isn't close to the FSU standard, it would be a heck of a lot better than finishing in the 50s. Be sure to stay tuned to Chopchat for Early Signing Day coverage on Wednesday.
