The final addition(so far) for FSU from the transfer portal was former Tennessee wide receiver Squirrel White. FSU had several receivers on campus but chose White to complement Duce Robinson.

White can do a lot of things like play in the slot across the middle or work teams vertically with his electric speed.

He also has value on special teams as a punt returner, which is an area in which FSU desperately needs help. He had 10 punt returns for 155 yards (15.5 yards per return average) in his Tennessee career.

He only has one year of eligibility remaining, but that works because it doesn't scare off the young pups in the wide receiver room. He's someone they can learn from and buy time to develop.

White has battled injuries but has been highly productive when healthy. He tallied 67 receptions for 803 receiving yards and two touchdowns in 2-2023. His production fell to 34 receptions for 381 yards last year, but that was more receptions than FSU's leading receiver a year ago (Ja'Khi Douglas).
