The Coastal Carolina product is similar to Jared Verse in that he was much smaller coming out of high school with only seven college offers.
He was listed as a wide receiver at 6'5" and 210 pounds but has bulked up considerably since starting college. The major difference is he didn't have every major college working to get his services once he transformed his body like Jared Verse.
He's now 6'5" and 260 pounds with solid production at a lower-level school. I don't expect Diggs to be a starter-level quality player, but I think he will be serviceable in the rotation. He's an older guy, so hopefully, he can start tapping into that old man's strength!
He only has one year of eligibility left and likely didn't cost FSU too much, so I'm not mad at the take. If he can provide a couple hundred snaps without too much dropoff, that's a win for the coaching staff.
