FSU football: Brave fan eats dog poop after Seminoles' loss to Duke

Florida State football has struggled this year as they are now 1-6 on the season with losses to Georgia Tech, Boston College, Memphis, SMU, Clemson, and Duke. The Seminoles had so many expectations for 2024 after they accomplished an undefeated regular season and a conference championship in 2023.

According to preseason Vegas odds, Florida State had a 9.5 over/under win total which the under cashed in after just three games. The program thought that they can retool in the transfer portal after losing contributors such as Jordan Travis, Jared Verse, Keon Coleman, Trey Benson, Braden Fiske, Johnny Wilson, Jaheim Bell, Kalen DeLoach, Tatum Bethune, and so many others.

The coaching staff learned very quickly when the Seminoles traveled to Dublin, Ireland to take on Georgia Tech (who they were favored by double-digits) that this could be a long year.

After the loss to the Yellow Jackets, a fan decided to go on Twitter (X) and state that he would eat dog poop if Florida State lost to Boston College. Well, knowing how bad the Seminoles' squad was, Florida State lost to the Eagles and the individual had to face the consequences.

Unfortunately, the guy on social media did not eat the dog poop. Weeks went by and the Seminoles suffered heart break after heart break where their only win of the year came versus California by a score of 14-9.

Florida State fan, DJ Ventora, made the ultimate sacifice after the Seminoles' loss to Duke (the first time in program history) and stated that he would eat the dog poop to break the program's curse.
