The baseball player in me(superstitious) almost made me not write this piece because of how last year went. I wrote a best and worst care scenario piece, and the worst came true and then some as FSU laid an egg in the season opener against Georgia Tech.

This 2025 season has lots of uncertainties, but those are mainly because I don’t know who will stay healthy or not at each position. I’ve said it before, if I could get guarantees, the starters would stay healthy. I’m betting they win eight games all day.

I still believe they will, but I can see a scenario where a few guys get hurt and they struggle to win seven.

This schedule isn’t difficult, and it’s laid out nicely for a team that probably needs a little more time to gel and work out the kinks. FSU has more talent than at least eight teams on the schedule, better coaches than last year, and better in some key positions.

Most betting sites have FSU with a 7.5 win share. What are the best and worst-case scenarios for 2025? Let’s start with the worst.
