Joshua Farmer-Defensive Tackle

The FSU defensive line has been a major disappointment overall, but one player who has met and exceeded expectations is defensive tackle Joshua Farmer.

He has been consistent in every game, logging at least three tackles in four of the six games. Farmer consistently wins his matchups, eats double teams, and wreaks havoc in the trenches. He has 18 tackles, 2.5 sacks, five QB hurries, and 6.5 tackles for a loss.

The duo of he and former high school teammate Darrell Jackson Jr. were supposed to be among the best in the ACC, if not the nation. However, only Farmer has delivered the goods so far.

As I've mentioned, FSU has faced a dual-threat QB in four of its first six games. That won't be the case in the second half of the season. I expect Joshua Farmer to continue his high level of play, and hopefully, he'll get some help from others like Jackson, Patrick Payton, and Marvin Jones. Jr.
