FSU football held its 10th fall practice and second scrimmage on Sunday night in Tallahassee. It's an important moment in fall camp as Mike Norvell and the coaching staff look to separate the contenders from the pretenders.

From the sound of it, that's what's starting to take place as FSU will begin to work toward gameplanning for Alabama in the season opener.

I wrote about five huge questions going into the second scrimmage, and it sounds like we have answers to most of those. There remain some questions about special teams, particularly punt return, punting, and field goal kicking.

However, Thomas Castellanos showed up in the second scrimmage. That's a big deal since he'll be a key cog in the offense for Gus Malzahn. If he plays well, this offense has a chance to surprise some folks. Let's get into the five major takeaways from the scrimmage and Mike Norvell's interview.
