FSU will roll up to Charlottesville for a Friday night showdown against the Virginia Cavaliers. It’ll be the biggest game for the Cavaliers in years, and they are off to a much better start than folks anticipated, so I’m sure they will be amped(for their standards).
They come into the contest winners of three of four games, and should be undefeated, but blew a 10-point halftime lead on the road against NC State.
If I had to guess, their offense is the biggest strength, but it’s hard to gauge because they haven’t played anyone good. Their defense has given up more points than they’d like against suspect competition, and I’m curious to see how they match up against the FSU offense.
Some folks would say FSU has played suspect competition aside from the Alabama game, but FSU has looked nearly unstoppable. The Noles have only punted THREE times in three games. This should be a fun week since FSU could be in a competitive game for a bit. FSU is a -6.5 betting favorite, and the over/under sits at 57.5.
Let’s get into the five biggest things to know about the Virginia Cavaliers.
