FSU football: 5 biggest questions going into second fall scrimmage

It's about time to separate the pretenders from the contenders.

FSU football continues to do work in Jacksonville as it prepares for its second scrimmage.

The FSU coaches have been aggressive early in camp, looking to separate the pretenders from the contenders so they can maximize what they have in the coming weeks to gameplan for the Alabama game.

We talked about the five biggest positives coming out of week one. I like where the team is at and some of the names we've been hearing.

There are some surprises, which is good, but also a concern that we haven't heard about some guys who we thought could take that next step.

This second scrimmage will be more like a game and less situational, but Mike Norvell said they may force certain situations to see how things go if they don't happen naturally in game play.

This scrimmage will set the tone for the rest of the fall. Here are my five biggest questions heading into this important practice.
