WR JAKHI DOUGLAS

As I mentioned with the veteran Kentron Poitier having a crucial drop, the wide receiver position has been performing very poorly this year. It was disappointing given that the program did well with Keon Coleman and Johnny Wilson last season.

Every team has to replace players that graduate, transfer, and the NFL Draft. The Seminoles tried to go to the transfer portal and picked up Alabama's Malik Benson and LSU's Jalen Brown where neither of them have done anything in their collegiate careers.

Benson and Brown have not stood out in 2024 either for the Seminoles. The one who has stood out is slot wide receiver JaKhi Douglas. He has been Mr. Reliable for the program over the years. Douglas was a former four-star prospect in Mike Norvell's first recruiting cycle in Tallahassee.

He is the leading wide receiver for the Seminoles in 2024. Douglas has also been a Miami Hurricane killer where he has stepped up in the biggest moments in the rivalry (set up the 4th down and 14 in the 2021 matchup). Douglas will have to showcase his talents against Miami to give them a chance.
