QB LUKE KROMENHOEK

Florida State's offense is one of the worst in the country (could be in play for being THE worst). I cannot argue with this thought process. The offense struggles to even get to 14 points nowadays, coming off a 2023 campaign that was getting 30+ points effortlessly (even though that offense went flat often).

Florida State was supposed to have the services of transfer quarterback DJ Uiagalelei and he was going to bridge the gap between the younger options on the roster such as Brock Glenn, Luke Kromenhoek, and Trever Jackson.

However, Uiagalelei played poorly and then suffered potentially a season-ending finger injury versus SMU. That was the nail in the coffin for the Seminoles at that point. The coaching staff navigated playing both Glenn and Kromenhoek. Glenn struggled in the Miami game where he couldn't get comfortable.

As a result, Norvell decided to insert the true freshman Kromenhoek into the game. A crazy play that sparked the offense was a 42-yard quarterback sneak (yes, that was not a typo). Neither signal-caller showcased much from a passing standpoint, but Kromenhoek showed a lot with his legs to make things happen where I believe the coaching staff could stick with him.
