Parting Thoughts
FSU fans want to be conservative after last season, and that's understood. However, believe me when I tell you they are not THAT far off.
As atrocious as the offense was in 2024, FSU should have only been down 14-3 to a Notre Dame team playing for a national championship.
I firmly believe the season would be totally different if FSU had an offense in 2024. That starts with the offensive line, and they've added four starters from the transfer portal and one of the better offensive line coaches in the nation with Herb Hand.
They've hired an offensive coordinator who typically has top 30 offenses with lesser talent at UCF.
The biggest area FSU will lack is proven depth across multiple positions. If they struggle with injuries at certain positions, that would be impactful.
FSU will have a shot to make a great impression in their season opener hosting Alabama. That program will have lots of changes, including a new quarterback. However, don't be surprised if FSU looks like a different team on the field.
