This was funny.

FSU FOOTBALL WIN OVER BAMA

Florida State made headlines throughout the college football landscape after their season-opening victory against the Alabama Crimson Tide by a score of 31-17. The Seminoles were aggressive and physical, where they brought it to the Crimson Tide. They even had Roll Tide Willie debating his decision to be an Alabama fan.

Quarterback Thomas Castellanos made some bold statements in an interview with On3's Pete Nakos this offseason, where he stated the following: "They don't have Nick Saban to save them. I just don't see them stopping me."

After the fan base heard about the comments that Castellanos said, individuals thought it would be bulletin board material for Alabama after their "disappointing" 9-4 season (according to the lofty standards that the Crimson Tide have).

UP NEXT: VIRGINIA

The Seminoles have not been tested since their Alabama win, as they played East Texas A&M and Kent State. The program has the nation's respect after the SEC power was defeated, but Florida State still has to win football games.

Florida State football will be opening up ACC play on Friday at 7 PM EST versus the Virginia Cavaliers on ESPN. The Seminole faithful are nervous about how the squad will react when everyone has their eyes on the program.

Plus, the Cavaliers are premiering their old-school uniforms from the 1995 squad that defeated Florida State for their first-ever conference game.

A Florida State fan on Twitter (X), Aaron Cabrera, posted this graphic that featured quarterback Thomas Castellanos making a fake quote about Virginia that was similar to Alabama: "Bronco Mendenhall isn't walking through those doors to save them. I don't see them stopping me."

This quote is obviously fake, but if this is the type of motivation that this team needs to make it out of Charlottesville, Virginia, and not look ahead to that rivalry game at home against Miami, then most fans would completely understand.

Bravo to Aaron for posting the graphic with the quote. It was something that I hope the broadcast crew shows the public after the Seminoles led by three touchdowns in the fourth quarter.
