These prospects will make the Seminoles better quickly

Brian Kelly is out at LSU. As of this week, Mike Norvell is still at FSU. Whether he stays around for another week, month or year is unknown, but as long as Norvell is here, he should focus on building a better roster.

And with Kelly out of a job, there are a lot of prospects in LSU's No. 11-ranked recruiting class that could be perfect fits in Tallahassee. Here are two recruits that I believe the Seminoles staff should reach out to immediately.

1. 5-star EDGE Trenton Henderson

Henderson is one of the top players in the state and with Kelly gone, the Pensacola native might be on the market again. He committed to the Tigers over the summer with Florida and Texas as his other finalists. Well, Florida doesn't have a head coach and, for some odd reason, there may or may not be NFL teams reaching out to Steve Sarkisian, so the Longhorns might not have a coach either.

Obviously, if Henderson were to get back out on the market, it would be a major deal, and you can expect everyone to be active in recruiting him, like Alabama, Georgia, Miami, Texas A&M, Ohio State, etc. etc. This would be a great opportunity for Norvell and the Seminole staff to show that they are willing to get into a tough recruiting battle and put up a fight. If Tony White wants a game changer in his defensive scheme, Henderson is that guy that can come in and contribute as a true freshman.

Any recruiting battle for Henderson will come at a cost, but if there was ever a prospect for FSU to go big for, it's a top-end pass rusher like this.

2. 4-star EDGE DeAnthony Lafayette

Another in-state edge prospect, Lafayette, is already hearing from several schools. And the belief is that Henderson is going to keep his recruitment closed and make contact with the schools he wants to explore, while Lafayette might be a little more available. According to Tom Loy from 247Sports, the Seminoles staff is already in contact with the pass rusher from Orlando.

Two in-state prospects that would fill a major position of need. This is the best chance FSU will have to land a real impact player this late in the recruiting cycle.
