GUARD DWAYNE BACON
Former Florida State guard Dwayne Bacon played a pivotal part in getting the Seminoles to the NCAA Tournament. Bacon for a former five-star prospect in the 2015 recruiting cycle where he was the ninth-best prospect in the country.
Bacon was a massive victory by the Seminoles, where they won him over schools such as Tennessee, Georgetown, and USC. At the time, Florida State got themselves a certified playmaker. Bacon was a key figure in the Seminoles' history for the 2015 and 2016 seasons.
The dynamic guard recorded 15.2 points per game in 2015 and then finished up 2016 with 17.2 points per game. He was selected by the New Orleans Pelicans with the 40th overall pick in the 2017 NBA Draft.
In his final season with the Seminoles, he scored 25 points in the opening round versus Florida Gulf Coast in the NCAA Tournament then Bacon turned around and had a 20-point performance versus Xavier in the Round of 32.
I certainly wished that Bacon would have stayed longer at Florida State.
