How do these media sites release their top 10 college football teams since 2000 and forget the best team, 2013 FSU football?

I understand rankings are subjective, and some may not think FSU is THE best team, but to leave them completely out and list some of the teams here is ridiculous.

The 2013 FSU team is the best offensive team in college football history, averaging over 51 points per game. They scored more points through 14 games than any other college football team, and it took 2019 LSU an extra game to surpass their total points scored by only three points.

That was with FSU starters sitting for most of the second half of their games. If we want to talk about defense, FSU only allowed 170 points that entire season and was near the top in almost every statistical category.

FSU went 14-0 and beat three teams inside the top five by an average margin of 22.3 points. 2003 USC lost to a six-loss California team. 2008 Florida lost to a four-loss Ole Miss team at home. 2012 Alabama lost to Texas A&M at home and was not as dominant as 2013 FSU.

The 2023 Michigan team would have gotten smoked by 2013 FSU. Michigan didn't play a ranked team until week 10 that season, and that team had a weak offense. The 2013 FSU defense was better than Michigna's defense in 2023, and the offenses aren't comparable.

The 2013 FSU team is easily inside the top 5 best teams since 2000, if not the greatest teams of all time conversation. I haven't even gotten to how many players from that 2013 FSU team got drafted and played in the NFL, and all of the individual college awards that team won.

Media outlets blatantly leaving them off the have zero credibility.
