Florida State football has had its fair share of former players that have blossomed in the National Football League. I understand that rookie defensive end Jared Verse and defensive tackle Braden Fiske, who play for the Los Angeles Rams, have taken the league by storm.
Another former Seminole who grabbed the attention of the fans across the general National Football League landscape was quarterback Jameis Winston. As most know, Winston won a Heisman Trophy and a 2013 BCS National Championship versus the Auburn Tigers.
He was one of the more polarizing figures in collegiate and professional sports. Winston played for the Cleveland Browns, but I am not sure he will return to the team next year after Deshaun Watson tore his Achilles. They have options such as Dorian Thompson-Robinson and Bailey Zappe.
There were times when the Browns played Thompson-Robinson over Winston, which frustrated many fans. They even had Bailey Zappe and Dorian Thompson-Robinson instead of Jameis Winston in the season finale at the Ravens to ensure that they can tank their draft pick to get a better collegiate prospect (probably weren't going to win anyway).
I realize that Jameis Winston isn't prime Patrick Mahomes and can be compared to Brett Favre at times (not in a good way with decision-making) with his willingness to take chances.
However, the general public relates to how hilarious he is when he doesn't even try to be funny.

Jameis Winston has had the privilege to give fans behind-the-scenes access with FOX Sports as the Super Bowl takes place this Sunday with the Philadelphia Eagles and the Kansas City Chiefs.
Winston has ensured to give fans a good laugh as they prepare for the big game. I cannot wait to see the next plans for him in the National Football League.
