FSU FOOTBALL
Let me start by saying that you cannot go wrong with a ton of former players who wore the Garnet and Gold when you are trying to construct a Mount Rushmore. The Seminoles have a rich history of phenomenal players who put their blood, sweat, and tears on the line for this program.
CBS Sports's Bryant McFadden (who used to play for the Seminoles) conducted an interview where he asked former Florida State and current Los Angeles Rams defensive linemen Jared Verse and Branden Fiske who their combined list of Mount Rushmore for Florida State was.

When I heard the question, I thought that they might be referring to a bunch of new school Seminoles who had success here. However, their response shocked me.
During the interview, McFadden instructed Verse and Fiske to split up, so each of them would pick two players to put on Mount Rushmore. Fiske started with some heaters with Odell Haggins and Marvin Jones.
HAGGINS AND JONES
If Fiske didn't start with Odell Haggins, he might rip him a new one. Coach Haggins is Florida State through and through. He played on the defensive line with the Seminoles from 1985-1988, where he recorded 278 tackles (12 for loss), 16.5 sacks, and three forced fumbles. Then, he included linebacker Marvin "Shade Tree" Jones, who had 218 tackles (27 for loss), 5.5 sacks, and three interceptions when he played for Florida State from 1990-1992.
SANDERS AND WARRICK
Verse didn't disappoint as he selected Deion Sanders and Peter Warrick. Sanders was part of the reason that Florida State is considered "DBU". He recorded 110 tackles (two for loss), four forced fumbles, 14 interceptions, and 27 pass breakups with the Seminoles from 1985-1988. Warrick didn't get the credit he deserved at times, where he had 207 receptions for 3,517 yards and 32 touchdowns from his time with Florida State from 1995-1999.
