The delay timer restarts each time a strike is present in the surrounding area. There is no official announcement on a new kickoff time, as the timer has been reset twice already due to strikes nearby.
Update 3:20 p.m. ET: Another lightning strike was detected in the area, forcing the 30-minute delay clock to restart. Players have once again stopped warm-ups.
Update 3:31 p.m. ET: An additional lightning strike has been detected in the surrounding area for the fourth time. The 30-minute clock is back in effect in Tuscaloosa.
Update 3:43 p.m. ET: A lightning strike was detected in the eight mile radius surrounding Bryant-Denny Stadium, forcing another 30-minute delay. Warm-ups have once again been paused.
Update 4:09 p.m. ET: No official update on a kickoff time has been released, but the storms have begun to move out of the radius.
Update 4:13 p.m. ET: Players and staff will return to the field to begin working out ahead of the game at 4:35 p.m. ET. The current projected kickoff time is 5:15 p.m. ET, barring any changes in the weather.
