Makenna Reid got the start and pitched two innings while allowing one hit(it should have been ruled an error) and one run(that only scored because of the hit that should have been an error). Ashtyn Danley, Jazzy Francik, and Julia Apsel pitched in relief and got the win.
The game should have never been close as FSU left several runners on base. The Noles will go for their third straight ACC sweep on Sunday.
FSU baseball's Saturday doubleheader got moved to Sunday due to inclement weather. The first game will begin at 10 a.m. and will be seven innings. The second game will be nine innings unless the first game goes into extra innings. FSU will look to overcome losing the first game in the series and continue its streak of ACC series wins. Joey Volini and Wes Mendes will start on the mound for the Noles. Volini has been lights out all year, and Mendes struggled for the first time in his last outing against Miami.
FSU basketball head coach Luke Loucks signed his first player, transfer portal player Kobe MaGee from Drexel. However,
BOOM!! Florida State fans should be thrilled about Coach Loucks first commitment as the head coach of the Seminoles!! Kobe MaGee (@Kobe5tarr) was excellent all year at Drexel and was one of the most pleasing players to watch in the country this past season.

Danzy won the event by over a full-second and looks poised to make his name in Track and Field. Can the running back who moved to receiver make use of that speed in Gus Malzahn's offense this fall?
FSU football had its first situational scrimmage and the offense and defense has its moments.
