WR ELIJAH MOORE

Florida State's offense has been horrific at times during the 2024 season. The unit has now turned to redshirt freshman Brock Glenn at quarterback after the injury to veteran DJ Uiagalelei.

With the 1-5 record start, the Seminoles' offense need a sense of hope and life. One troubling issue is the amount of drops by the wide receivers on the roster. Florida State has done a better job with playing young playmakers such as Landen Thomas, Amaree Williams, and Lawayne McCoy.

However, it is reasonable to wonder where wide receiver Elijah Moore is. Moore was a four-star prospect from the 2024 recruiting cycle just like Lawayne McCoy. The only difference is that Moore is a summer enrollee.

Fans thought that with Moore overperforming during fall that he would get a chance in the offense. Plus, the Maryland native is a mismatch nightmare at 6'4". My guess is that he just hasn't acclimated to the collegiate game and doesn't know the plays yet. However, my counter to that is possibly giving him a few plays here and there that maybe he is comfortable with and see what he can do.
