FSU FOOTBALL DEFENSE

Florida State football finished with a 2-10 record in 2024, which was something that the fan base wanted to see improvement from since the program's standard was competing for conference and national championships.

The Seminoles made drastic changes to the team, like adding new players via the transfer portal and recruiting ranks. Plus, head football coach Mike Norvell acquired new coaches for his staff, such as offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn and defensive coordinator Tony White.

The defense had to replace the likes of previous assistant Adam Fuller. I didn't mind Coach Fuller, but I am a huge fan of what Tony White brings to the table. He promotes a physical mentality with the aggressive 3-3-5 scheme.

While I know the offense was the main concern from the 2024 season, the defense did not have the production that it needed to be successful. In this article, I want to highlight five players that will make Florida State's defense a good product in 2025.
