FSU FOOTBALL
Florida State football finished with a 2-10 record in 2024. This was not something that the fan base suggested as being "successful" (obviously). However, you cannot cry over spilled milk about what happened, and the Seminoles have to move forward.
Unfortunately, DraftKings Sportbook is low on Florida State this year, where they tabbed the program as having an over/under 6.5 wins. This would be a disastrous season to go under for Norvell and company as they look to get back on the right track.
There have been recruits, and transfers have been added to the roster this year. Unfortunately, the Seminoles' fan base has seen another large increase in creating a spark with a new roster.
PROVING THE DOUBTERS WRONG
SEC Network's Paul Finebaum made a statement where he suggested that Alabama will dominate the season opener versus the Seminoles, but that was to be expected from someone who has gone on record to dislike Florida State in the past.
Finebaum is someone that the fan base views as a "big hater", but it isn't all bad in the national media. On3's J.D. PicKell talks about some teams in the college football landscape and what not to buy this offseason.
After recording a 2-10 season in 2024, it speaks volumes to what Florida State means to the sport of college football that they are still being talked about. PicKell stated this about Florida State football in the video (click here) about not believing in narratives.
"I don't think Florida State is some walkover win this year. "PicKell on FSU football in 2025
This is high praise for PicKell because Florida State still has games such as Alabama, Pittsburgh, Miami, Clemson, North Carolina State, and Florida. They shouldn't be taken lightly. Let the general population to keep trolling, but eventually Florida State will get back to what they do best: Win.
