FSU will be without starting right tackle Micah Pettus for today's game against Pitt. The final availability report has Pettus as the key name that has been declared unavailable.
Pettus' injury has not been disclosed, but speculation is that it's some sort of upper-body injury or possibly a concussion. Brendan Sonnone from 247Sports posted a video on X (fka Twitter) of Pettus' last play in the Miami game.
A few people have asked about Micah Pettus' injury. This was the last play he was in against Miami (4th and 8 interception).

Looks like upper body, imagine concussion based on the head shot. pic.twitter.com/K5ba94D777
With Pettus out, the right tackle position will be manned by either Adrian Medley, who would shift from guard, or Jacob Rizy, the No. 6 lineman who transferred in from Harvard. Either player is a major downgrade from the mammoth, physical Pettus, but earlier this week Mike Norvell expressed confidence in both.
"I like the versatility of the guys we have. Adrian, he was forced to go out there the other day at tackle. Rizy has some flexibility in what he's able to do in doing both," Norvell said.
Starting defender is a game-time decision
If there was some promising news on the injury report, it is with starting safety Ashlynd Barker's status. Barker, who missed last week's game against Miami with a shoulder injury, is a game-time decision.
Barker was able to go through warm-ups and in the final online update it looks as if he will try to play. If he can return, it's a big boost to FSU's secondary depth, which took a hit this week with the season-ending injury to rotational cornerback Quindarrius Jones.

WRs Boggs and White will not play
The Seminoles will be thin at wide receiver as well. Squirrel White and Jayvan Boggs are also unavailable. Tight end Randy Pittman is a game-time decision and if he can't play, that leaves Duce Robinson, Lawayne McCoy and Micahi Danzy as the only receivers that have played a lot of snaps.
(UPDATE: Pittman is officially out)
Also, FSU's starting punt returner, B.J. Gipson, decided to leave the program to focus full-time on baseball. McCoy is likely to handle some of the return duties with White unavailable. If Pittman is out, that means that Amaree Williams will probably have to play more snaps at tight end. FSU was hoping to use him more on defense to help the anemic pass rush.
