FSU FOOTBALL IS COOL AGAIN

Florida State football is cool again. It was a disappointment to watch what transpired last year in Tallahassee with the 2-10 record. We brave souls who bled Garnet and Gold had to endure the feeling of every loss.

However, the same individuals came back to the newly renovated Doak Campbell Stadium and watched the Seminoles knock off Alabama by a score of 31-17. The expectations were heightened to a degree where even the casuals are suggesting playoffs or bust.

Quarterback Thomas Castellanos is the talk of the nation. He said what he said when Castellanos conducted the interview with On3's Pete Nakos, where he stated that Nick Saban couldn't save Alabama and that no one could stop him.

THOMAS CASTELLANOS IS MUST-SEE TV

There were people out there who criticized quarterback Thomas Castellanos for being benched at Boston College. The truth of the matter is that his former head football coach, Bill O' Brien, tried to fit him into an offensive scheme that didn't cater to his skill set.

Florida State went out and hired former UCF head football coach Gus Malzahn to be its offensive coordinator. The two of them reunited once again after they were on the Knights together. It was a perfect match for Castellanos.

The dual-threat signal caller has completed 27 of his 38 passes for 594 yards and three touchdowns with one interception. He has also added 27 carries for 139 yards and three touchdowns on the ground.

His success has garnered attention for the Heisman Trophy. Castellanos is a confident young man who knows what he brings to the table. The media is loving his comments that he made against Alabama, and now SportsCenter is having him on for an interview.

This is refreshing to see Castellanos being featured on SportsCenter with the big game against Virginia on deck. Florida State fans don't love ESPN after the way they show favoritism towards the SEC, plus how everything played out when the Seminoles were snubbed from the playoffs in 2023. However, ESPN is showing to show love to Florida State, and that is a positive start.
