Florida State is just a few days away from potentially the toughest game on the schedule in Week 7 against the Miami Hurricanes. The Seminoles' road losing streak extended against Louisville in Week 6, and now the team once again needs to travel away from Doak Campbell Stadium and into dangerous waters in Miami.

Coach Mike Norvell has plenty of questions that need to be answered moving forward, and the Week 7 clash against Miami could help do so. Florida State is currently considered to be a massive 21.5-point underdog heading into a difficult game in Hard Rock Stadium. The Seminoles could be in store for a very long night against the Hurricanes.

The Hurricanes are currently massive favorites over the Seminoles, and given the differences between the two teams on the field this season, it is not hard to understand why. Miami has the best offense (49.6 PPG) and the best defense (9.8 PPG allowed) in the country, and most of the wins have looked effortless.

Behind the success of the Hurricanes' offense has been quarterback Darian Mensah, who has 21 incompletions and 17 total touchdowns through five games. Nine of his incompletions occurred in one game against Clemson, and Miami still put up 41 points in that game. When Mensah needs help, he hands the football off to the dynamic running back duo of Mark Fletcher Jr. and Javian Mallory.

Leading the defense for Miami is defensive lineman Marquise Lightfoot, who already has a new career-high of five sacks this season. Lightfoot is leading the team in sacks and is just two tackles away from leading the team in that category as well. The Hurricanes do an excellent job at creating contact at the line to limit opponents' gains, and Lightfoot plays a pivotal role in the team doing so.

Miami has found consistent success against each team on the schedule thus far, and Florida State cannot say the same. The Seminoles allowed a whopping 397 rushing yards against Louisville in Week 6, along with six total touchdowns. To make matters worse, the offense was unable to respond to the firepower of Louisville until halfway through the fourth quarter.

It has been very hard to predict which Florida State team is going to take the field, but with more negative performances than positive ones now, Miami might be able to truly take advantage of a bad situation.
