Duce Robinson is buying all the stock in freshman wide receiver Jayvan Boggs.
Robinson, the USC transfer that's expected to be the top wide receiver for FSU this year, could not stop raving about Boggs during his media scrum after the first day of camp. The junior believes Boggs has the tools to be one of the best.
Robinson says Jayvan Boggs "absolutely" can be a factor in this offense:

"Has everything that it takes to be the best player in college football, the best freshman in college football... he is going to be a really really big problem in college football." pic.twitter.com/hQADvMFyvk
"Jayvan is incredible. Jayvan has everything that it takes to be the best player in college football," Robinson said. "The best freshman in college football. He literally has everything you need to be a great receiver. He can block. His ball skills are unbelievable. He makes plays every single day where you're like...'I don't understand how that's possible'. That dude is a dog, and he is going to be a really really big problem for college football for as long as he wants to stay in college football."
It's amazing praise coming from a player like Robinson to heap on to a freshman, but I don't feel like he would say that about Boggs if he didn't believe that the newcomer couldn't handle it. Fans can be so impatient with freshmen that have high expectations, but if Robinson is willing to hand out that kind of endorsement, it's hard not to be excited.
Can I also say that I love the vibes coming from Robinson after the first day? Right out of the gate he was putting over his teammates. Talking about the skill level that Boggs has and how defensive back Jeremiah Wilson continues to get to the facility earlier than anyone, despite how hard Robinson tries to beat him there.

Robinson not only mentioned Boggs by name but talked about the whole wide receiver room and the potential the group has.
"Seeing how talented some of the guys are, just how good they're going to be," Robinson continued, "it really makes me push myself, and I don't think those guys even realize it."
There is a lot of skill at wide receiver and some versatility. We already know that Robinson is expected to be the primary target while Squirrel White and Jaylin Lucas will be a big part of the offense in different ways. If Boggs is as good as advertised, you better believe Gus Malzahn will figure out a way to get the football in his hands.
