Florida State football started the morning with recruiting rankings in the 50s for the 2025 cycle. Fans had prepared themselves for an unsuccessful day as the Seminoles finished with a 2-10 season. It was supposed to be a 2024 campaign filled with happiness and the College Football Playoffs.

Unfortunately, that was not the case, as the Seminoles were disappointing. As a result, head football coach Mike Norvell decided to fire offensive coordinator/offensive line coach Alex Atkins, defensive coordinator Adam Fuller, and wide receivers coach Ron Dugans.

The Seminoles decided to hire offensive coordinator Gus Malzahn, defensive coordinator Tony White, and defensive line coach Terrance Knighton (not official yet). That was a massive get by the the program to get these individuals in.

The Seminoles have already seen this pay dividends as Florida State surprisingly lands four-star running back target Ousmane Kromah. He was previously committed to Georgia. Kromah had been to Tallahassee several times, but the discussion was always centered around the Bulldogs and the Auburn Tigers.

Then Florida State was not finished yet as four-star wide receiver Jayvan Boggs also flipped to the Seminoles. He was pledged to the UCF Knights. However, once Malzahn was named as the offensive coordinator at Florida State, Boggs knew that it was a matter of time before he became a Seminole.

Overall, this has been a very productive day for Florida State as it looks to get back to the nation's elite. I couldn't be more satisfied with the pickups on the offensive side of the football.

Next. Well, well, well... 2-loss Miami is behind 3-loss Alabama in CFP rankings. Well, well, well... 2-loss Miami is behind 3-loss Alabama in CFP rankings. dark
