FSU FOOTBALL RECRUITING CLASS
Florida State football ranks as the 20th-best recruiting class in the 2026 cycle with fourteen commits. The coaching staff has prioritized securing a recruiting class that shows the importance of building a firm foundation of high school recruiting.
Head football coach Mike Norvell and this new coaching staff have ensured that the recruiting class will be something to remember. Unfortunately, the Seminoles finished the 2024 campaign with a 2-10 record, so recruiting could be difficult to navigate.
However, Florida State received good news on the recruiting front on Wednesday afternoon as Noles247's Zach Blostein put in a flip crystal ball prediction to Florida State for Class of 2026 four-star quarterback Jaden O'Neal from Mustang, Oklahoma, who recently officially visited the Seminoles.
JADEN O'NEAL
This is a big development for the Florida State 2026 recruiting class. I am excited to see that the coaching staff has gained some momentum with O'Neal. The coaching staff has struck out with prospects such as five-star Keisean Henderson, four-star Brady Smigiel, four-star Bowe Bentley, and four-star Landon Duckworth.
I guess the fifth time is the charm as the Seminoles hope to land another Oklahoma quarterback commit (Kevin Sperry from the 2025 recruiting cycle).
I knew that the coaching staff couldn't let O'Neal leave campus without pledging. The Seminoles have scholarship signal-callers Thomas Castellanos, Brock Glenn, and Kevin Sperry on their roster for 2025. However, Castellanos should be graduating after this year, so the Seminoles will be relying on Glenn and Sperry for 2026.
While I am not saying that O'Neal is the best quarterback prospect that Florida State has ever landed (I never want to discount what a recruit brings to the table), they desperately need options on their roster.
