FSU FOOTBALL
Florida State football will be taking on the Alabama Crimson Tide on Saturday, August 30th at 3:30 PM EST on ABC. The Seminole faithful are a bit bummed out by College Gameday not coming to Tallahassee and decided to be featured with Ohio State versus Texas instead for Lee Corso's final appearance on the show.
The fan base is disappointed since Corso was a former player with the Seminoles, where he recorded 14 career interceptions. It would have been a cool moment with him being back in Tallahassee.
However, you know how ESPN and the national media despise Florida State football, so it is expected that they will dismiss the season opener for Ohio State versus Texas, which is being featured on the competing networks of Big Noon Kickoff and College Gameday.
CBS SPORTS HQ
I am not saying that this is quite the same in terms of brand perception, but it was announced that the CBS Sports HQ pre-game show will be heading to Tallahassee on August 30th at 9:00 AM EST.

I am not saying that CBS Sports HQ is on the same level as College Gameday, but it would be cool to see the former Seminole players Bryant McFadden and Danny Kanell. I know some people question Kanell's takes, but he is a fun piece to have a discussion with. discuss
It won't take the pain of seeing Corso putting the Seminole headgear on when Florida State takes on Alabama, but it could be a solid consolation prize for not having ESPN's show in Tallahassee.
