GATORS GO DOWN AGAIN
Florida head football coach Billy Napier's seat just keeps getting hotter and hotter as the Gators lost to the LSU Tigers on Saturday night by a score of 20-10. The road to the end of the season doesn't get any better with Florida already having two losses.
The next five games include Miami, Texas, Texas A&M, Mississippi State, and Georgia. In a recent article, I highlighted how I hoped Coach Norvell gets an opportunity for revenge on Billy Napier after the flag-planting fiasco from last season's matchup.
However, there are doubts that the Gators will even have their coach at the end of the year.
DJ LAGWAY
Quarterback DJ Lagway was viewed by most individuals to be the best signal-caller in the SEC. However, some Florida State fans didn't see the hype as he recorded 12 touchdowns and nine interceptions a year ago.
The Florida faithful had to be excited when the Gators tied it up on the Tigers with 3:25 left to go in the second quarter. However, the happiness quickly turned to sadness as their "superstar" quarterback finished the game, completing 33 of his 49 passes for 287 yards with one touchdown and FIVE interceptions.
Yes, you read that correctly... five. It was a disastrous second half for Lagway as he searched for answers. The ESPN broadcast continuously showed Billy Napier speaking to the youngster on the sideline.
Fans on social media can be brutal at times, and they certainly let Lagway have it.

This was an opportunity for Florida to prove that the South Florida loss was a fluke, but they wet the bed and looked unprepared and didn't respond well to the adversity that they faced.
