FSU FOOTBALL RECRUITING
Florida State football's recruiting class for the 2026 cycle came into the day with the 15th-best, according to the 247Sports Composite. This was not the expectation of the fan base after the red-hot start in June, where some individuals thought that they could be in the top five.
Nonetheless, the weekend of July 11th didn't do them any favors as they struck on all five targeted prospects. This was disappointing to see, considering fans thought that the program had turned a corner with their approach in high school recruiting.
I still like their mindset on recruiting, but I wish they would add more options to expand the target board. With that said, I believe that they need to heavily invest in the trenches on the offensive and defensive side of the football to be successful.
UPDATE: BOOM!! Class of 2026 four-star offensive lineman Da’Ron Parks from Nitro, West Virginia, has committed to Florida State.

PARKS COMMITS TO FSU
That became true on Saturday as Class of 2026 four-star offensive lineman Da'Ron Parks from Nitro High School in Nitro, West Virginia, has made it official that he will be committing to Florida State, over schools such as Auburn, Ohio State, and Kentucky.
This is someone that Florida State hosted on an official visit on June 13th. The Seminoles got themselves a 6'5" and 350-pound mauler that will be effective on the interior of the offensive line.
He was previously at Cardinal Mooney High School in Sarasota, Florida, before moving to Nitro, West Virginia, this offseason. Overall, I like the way that Florida State is constructing the interior of its offensive line and ensuring that it out-physicals its opponents.
Next on the list would be to get two offensive tackle prospects who can be able to protect the quarterback's blind side. The bad news is that most of the recruits they are currently going after are committed elsewhere, so the Seminoles will have to be productive on the field this year.
