MIAMI OUTLOOK
Let me start by saying that I realize that Miami Hurricane fans will troll this post because Florida State finished with a 2-10 record last year. I am not suggesting that having two victories in 2024 is the standard of this proud program, but that is the reality of the situation.
If you don't know by now, the Miami fan base is one of the worst things to exist on social media. I guess you can say this about any arch-rival, but those individuals think that they are "back" every year. They still haven't won an ACC Championship since joining the conference in 2004.
Nonetheless, the Hurricanes had a phenomenal quarterback transfer with Cam Ward. I will admit that I wish that Florida State had grabbed him in the transfer portal instead of DJ Uiagalelei, but we cannot go back and change what happened.
Miami finished with a regular season record of 9-3, where they lost two of their last three games to ensure that they would be knocked out of an appearance in the ACC Championship Game and contention for the College Football Playoff.
BECK IS THE ANSWER?
Miami doesn't seem to have an answer at the quarterback position, so the Hurricanes went back into the transfer portal to grab former Georgia veteran Carson Beck, who suffered an injury in the SEC Championship Game.
The Seminoles have their transfer signal-caller in Thomas Castellanos, who is looking to turn the ship in the right direction for Florida State. It should be a fascinating contest as the Seminoles take on the Miami Hurricanes on October 4th in Doak Campbell Stadium.
Beck will be "greeted" by the fan base in Tallahassee when the Hurricanes come to town.
NEW: Miami could pay Georgia transfer QB Carson Beck up to $6M this season, including incentives, @PeteNakos_ reports📈

There is a report that surfaced from On3's Pete Nakos that Beck will be making up to $6 million in 2025, which is an insane amount of money for a quarterback who is coming back from an injury.
Head football coach Mike Norvell looks determined to ensure that 2024 never happens again at Florida State. There isn't much more that Norvell wouldn't do to get his revenge on Coach Cristobal and the Hurricanes this season.
I don't mean to sound cocky, but I cannot believe that head football coach Mario Cristobal will be giving Beck (someone who had a severe injury) all of this money just to lose to Florida State this fall.
