Florida State head football coach Mike Norvell is regarded as an individual who values the transfer portal. I even coined him and Ole Miss's Lane Kiffin as the "Transfer Portal Kings."

The one aspect that I worried about with Norvell is that he would get too comfortable with acquiring transfer prospects instead of getting high schoolers to grow within the program. One of his biggest gripes during his tenure at Florida State is that he has suffered his fair share of failures on National Signing Day.

However, he has gotten the most out of the transfer portal. We see transfers such as Keon Coleman, Johnny Wilson, Jared Verse, Braden Fiske, Jermaine Johnson, Jaheim Bell, Darrell Jackson, Trey Benson, Tatum Bethune, Jammie Robinson, Keir Thomas, Fabien Lovett, Jarrian Jones, Jashaun Corbin, D'Mitri Emmanuel, Devontay Love-Taylor, and Dillan Gibbons.

Fans see the difference between the Seminoles 2024 transfer portal class and the 2025 version. However, let's break down both transfer portal classes.
