Two of the three analysts on the ACC Huddle crew picked FSU to snap its four-game losing streak and nine-game ACC losing streak with a win tonight against Wake Forest.

FSU (3-4, 0-4) is in jeopardy of missing a bowl for the fourth time in Mike Norvell's six seasons. It's homecoming weekend in Tallahassee and the Seminoles staff is trying to offset the potential of an apathetic crowd by filling the stands with potential recruiting targets.

Still, Mike Norvell knows that the current state of FSU football is unacceptable and things have to change quickly. The Seminoles are a 10.5-point favorite on FanDuel.

Among the ACC huddle crew, Eddie Royal and former Seminoles head coach Jimbo Fisher picked the Seminoles while Eric Mac Lain decided to go with the Demon Deacons.

Royal wants Seminoles to show some pride

It's hard to believe that an FSU team we think has sufficient talent continues to fall short like this. The loss to Stanford on the road is one of the more embarrassing duringt Mike Norvell's tenure. Royal thinks that the real FSU is eventually going to show up and today is as good a day as any,

"Florida State has a lot of athletes out there. It's time for those guys to step up and today I believe they will"
Eddie Royal

Fisher expects big plays to carry the Seminoles

FSU was not able to hit a lot of explosive plays against Stanford, but the pass game was rolling in the 34-31 loss to Pitt. If the Seminoles can get similar production against Wake Forest tonight, the results could be different. Fisher believes that one receiver in particular could be the difference maker.

"I think they'll hiit a couple of those big plays that I talked about. Duce [Robinson] will have to take a couple of balls away from somebody."
Jimbo Fisher

Mac Lain isn't buying an FSU resurgence

Most fans can understand where Mac Lain is coming from. He's heard about FSU showing up each week for the past month and the Seminoles haven't done it yet, so he expects Wake Forest to ruin homecoming weekend in Tallahassee.

"I can't believe in [FSU], it's very similar to Clemson. I've seen it from Wake Forest. I've seen that defense flying around, playing tenacious. I think they're going to be able to take Tommy [Castellanos] and eliminate his running ability."
Eric Mac Lain
