UNFAMILIAR TERRITORY
Florida State lost to Virginia on Friday night by a score of 46-38 in double overtime. As a result, the Seminoles are playing the "wounded animal" role of being the underdogs against arch-rival Miami.
The program has lost its shine from the season-opening victory over Alabama. The attention is off of them, but let's face it, Florida State hasn't done the greatest with the light shining on them. They do better when the nation is counting them out.
Head football coach Mike Norvell wants his players to respond to the adverse situations. There is no better way to do it than under the lights against the Hurricanes. The Seminole faithful know that Miami is no bark and no bite, given their history of ACC Championships (or lack thereof).
The whole roster needs to get better throughout the season, but I have decided to pinpoint five players on the Seminoles' roster that need to step up for Florida State to be successful for the rest of 2025.
