5 HUGE reasons Mike Norvell 2.0 turns FSU around quicker than first time

Parting Thoughts
There's a lot going in Mike Norvell's favor compared to when he first took over. Clemson won the ACC Saturday night but went life and death with an SMU team that beat itself and still had an opportunity to win in Clemson's backyard. They are not the same Clemson compared to when Mike Norvell took over.
So when we look at not having a pandemic to slow progress. When we look at a better overall coaching staff. When we have the transfer portal and a proven track record of attracting big-time players FSU couldn't get in 2020.
When teams can't use old narratives about the coaching staff anymore, and The Battle's End can help FSU land higher-caliber players they couldn't get in Mike Norvell's first two years.
It shouldn't take long for Mike Norvell to turn things around. Mike Norvell went 8-13 in his first two years. He will not have nearly as many obstacles compared to then, and the 2025 schedule looks manageable from afar.
He very well may turn this thing around much quicker than folks think. Most of it will ride on how well they do in the transfer portal, and how quickly the coaching staff can get everyone on the same page with their offensive and defensive schemes.
I still think it'll take a lot of work, but the odds of Mike Norvell turning this program around fast look better than they did a few weeks ago.
