FOUR-STAR WR JAYVAN BOGGS

Florida State did not have any wide receiver prospects committed to their 2025 recruiting class until three-star JUCO pass catcher Jordan Scott. It was a good get for the Seminoles since he was a 6'7" playmaker that ran solid routes.

However, it does not lessen the blow of losing out on four-star prospects such as CJ Wiley, Daylan McCutcheon, and Malik Clark. Head football coach Mike Norvell has already announced that wide receivers coach Ron Dugans has been fired.

The Seminoles need to continue to add pieces to their wide receiver board. One prospect to look at is four-star UCF commit Jayvan Boggs from Cocoa, Florida. Boggs officially visited Florida State on the weekend of November 1st.

However, after the visit, Boggs announced that he would be shutting down his recruitment to the Knights. That should change given that Malzahn has been announced as the new offensive coordinator with the Seminoles.

The wide receiver recorded 93 receptions for 1,493 yards and 23 touchdowns this past season at Cocoa. It would be a tremendous pickup for the Seminoles.
